I've just been through the entire VB3 file section and unless I'm missing something there is not text file or dat file as the manual says.
I can't imagine that text file would be located anywhere but in the file that I originally downloaded.
Oops didn't look in downloads. Maybe it's there?
Otherwise, how would one go about getting that .dat file?
Man, am I ever feeling lost.

The lower octave will change you presets right out of the gate. You change the text file if you want to write your own presets - it's very easy. As on the real deal, only the B key has percussion.
