Dennis - Interesting observation. My Vent is also narrowing the tone as compared to the onboard Leslie, as you describe, and I've been assuming that was just part of my anomaly. What still makes me believe that there's a setting conflict or a malfunction is that, in addition to the narrowing of tone, the upper range is unpleasantly shrill to the point that no player in this group would accept as normal.

Craig - I'll have the manual with me at the gig and check that the amp sims are all OFF. Thanks.

If I don't resolve this after this afternoon's gig I could always post a reference recording.

You know, if I could get the clone builders to do ONE thing for us it would be to give us an effects loop ahead of the Leslie sim, where the OD needs to be.
