Subject:Re: Kronos through a Leslie video

Craig,
I'd second this. I've been using the CX3 through the leslie for a while, and love it. I finally got it dialed in with the vent, and although it's not nearly as pleasurable to sit in front of as the leslie in the audience it's just as good if not better (I say better because whoever's running the Pa can usually manage to screw up micing a leslie, THey don't have that freedon with the vent). But needing a smaller rig that does more than organ (my wurlie was showing some road wear) I went for the SK. For the small venues I go with the SK alone, but anything big I'm using the SK for wurly, rhodes, ets. and the Korg has been dragged back into service for the organ stuff. Don't get me wrong, I really like the organ in the SK, but those Korg engines just seem to blast through a mix better. It's why I chose it in the first place, and I'm finding even though it's old tech it's still my go to for live stuff. A year from now who knows, I'm still dialing in the SK, but if I was just doing organ there's no doubt I would have never considered a new clone.
