Craig, amazing fluid dexterity and nice comp counter! Another of my "to-learn" list of classic rock organ passages; (rolls eyes)..sigh someday.. I saw Scholz play that live at the San Diego Sports Aroma with a chest of pipes that dropped from the scaffolding over his head about 10 feet with hoses going into the pipes. Have no idea how they did that. I'm sure the organ tones you chose were more relevant standing in the room, kinda comb filtered out of the K10's into the cel mic. The Vent behaved well on this. How did you change speeds? Foot switch? Yeah I was impressed with the layout of the screen. Just when you think things can't get any better, someone shows you how. Really sleek looking board. Thanks for making the clip.

G,
I have to agree.. the Kronos is SO powerful that it's a little scary, however I have to say that the large screen and user interface makes getting around the Kronos pretty easy.. I don't generally dig too deep into my synths.. I'm more of a "pick a program" kind of guy, and the most I generally do is create "combinations" or "setups" and splits and layers.. But with the Kronos I've dug deeper than any other synth I've had in a long time. I've sampled sounds and used the samples to create a couple of programs, and dug into a couple of the synth engines.. It's really much easier than I would have thought.
The Kronos itself is really powerful with it's 9 synth engines. It has a real drawbar organ engine, 3 different virtual analog synths, Acoustic and electric piano engines and pretty sophisticated sample engine. Other workstations are busy playing catch up..
If anyone is interested in hearing the CX3 engine through the Ventilator, I recorded myself learning/practising the Boston song Foreplay/Long time on the Kronos over Christmas.. here it is..

It's a little sloppy but you get the idea... It's the Kronos CX3 engine into the ventilator, straight into my QSC K10's.. recorded on my cell phone.
Craig
