Yes, and when I first got the original Garageband, it marked the beginning to using soft synths onstage. I set up a track for each instrument patch I wanted to use, and picked up a (now-discontinued) M-Audio iControl to facilitate selecting tracks on the fly. I thought, 'Wow, this is pretty cool, if only someone would invent Mainstage." ;-)
