Subject:Re: cheapest 61key midi controller board with full size waterfall keys
I don't think it's Fatar... Yes, they used some special plastics for
the key surface, it can suck the sweat. Some users complained how easy
it could get scratched or dirty, I didn't see this on my piece yet.
Somebody on piano forum wrote it was the very first series with this
problem, and Roland sent him new keyboard to change (thanks to
warranty it was without payment!).
I never had an idea to use it for controlling tonewheel clone, always
in my life I strictly distinguished different kinds of keyboards on
electronic instruments and their purpose - I use hammer action for
piano sounds, waterfall keys for organ and light touch half weighted
keyboards (possibly with metal contacts) for synthesizers.
