Hi Jackoverfull,
I wasn't clear in my response... you were quite right to be
confused. I had been using a stereo to (2) Mono cable and simply
plugging in one channel of the stereo signal.
Your advice that I can find a stereo to mono option on my Mac was most
helpful, just the type of solution I was hoping to find.
