I should have differentiated my information, I was replying to things in both your and the original posts. When I read your instructions I thought someone (maybe just me) might be confused regarding System and installable libraries. In the original post the poster indicated he had put the System libraries in the Library folder. That won't update the installed system libraries and it is (or at least was in an older release when I tried it) possible to actually install a system library in the installable library memory. This doesn't cause any problems but does eat up memory.

I have had no trouble adding all the files in a ZIP update file to my USB drive before doing an update. I like having everything there in case I need to check something. I also keep all the files in my computer.
