Subject: [CWSG] Regarding the Ventilator
I've seen a bit of talk about the Ventilator lately and I just want to say
how much I love mine.
I have a 1947 Hammond BV and I use the Ventilator as my Leslie with it. If
the gig doesn't
permit me to bring the Hammond ( for whatever reason) I use a Kurzweil PC3
as my organ
along with the Ventilator.
Anyway... I recently had a nice jam with some local pals and the guy that
provided sound recorded the session.
I was given the tracks and whilst I had 'em loaded on the DAW I decided to
let you guys hear the
BV with the Hammond. I am certainly no sound engineer so forgive the brutal
mix. :)
The tracks I submit are side by side, first the band and then the same clip
with just the organ
and Vent. There are no effects on the organ, no chorus or vibrato, just the
Ventilator straight into
the board. I think it sounds great ! Please forgive my crappy engineering
skills and playing. :)
Hope this sheds a little like that don't know the Ventilator sound.

Enjoy and don't throw much rotten fruit ! Peace, Cal
