Subject:Re: Regarding the Ventilator

The vent is not capable of providing harmonic beating. The Hammond organs design causes this on certain drawbar combinations . It is a wavering rather than a steady dry organ tone. It is barely noticeable on the Hammond but some clone wheels, which are designed to emulate the Hammond, over emphasize this. The Casio WK organs as well as the Hammond xk2 are guilty of this and a nord model has also been recently accused. I cannot hear this exaggeration on any recent posting here, or on my VK 7 . It shows itself on the vent with the guilty clonewheels as a very digital phase shift sound mostly on fast speed.

Other than the Casio WK organ issues it still gives great value for the buck and yes the pianos are very good. Some are the same as the PX 330. I add a little more bottom end with an EQ pedal on the left channel as Casio stupidly left the very good EQ off the 7500 that the 3xxx series had.
