I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the earlier posts but I'll throw it out anyway.
I have always used my Vent in mono mode and since I monitor using in-ears I never thought anything about it.
Then I realized I could monitor the organ/vent through my mixer in stereo and send a mono signal to the board via aux channels. DUH!
You must use the Vent on stereo or you're not getting the full effect of the Leslie.
HUGE difference.
I've recently started using the Vent with my B3 and haven't got it dialed in just yet but so far it sounds darn good.

Mike -

I've used a Vent on my Nord C1 for almost 3 years - absolutely satisfied.
Love it! One thing I've discovered: using the Nord's onboard overdrive,
about 12:00 or a little less, WITH the Vent, brings a nice effect. Not TOO much
of the Nord that is... it does something good.

I have a feeling that as the onboard sims get better you're going to be
seeing more used Vents for sale on Ebay and other places. There is one on
there today that started at less than $200... that's the lowest I've seen yet
for a used Vent.

Hey guys,

I tried on recently on my Nord Stage and was underwhelmed, although I
think it might be nice to have....

Thoughts on using a vent on a Nord Stage? If I did, would I use in along
with Nord Leslie simulation or kill the Nord Leslie altogether and just use
the vent?

Snowed-in outside Boston,

Mike
