Yeah I had a feeling someone would chime in with that odd ball unit but its besides the point. Someone is contemplating cutting into a veneer cabinet not designed for two rotors mottling two Leslies to come up with still another frankenleslie. My point is louvers, the original vs the many make-do "holes" made in most not every single solid state version. It was just a guide to point out that merely cutting holes doesn't guarantee success. There is a science to it.

I believe the 770 was solid state with a traditional wooden cabinet with the typical louvers.
