Subject:New Sustain pedal slightly OT
I came across a new 2 in 1 sustain pedal.
It's a single pedal with two leads.
For instance, I normally use either a Nord E3-73 or C2 and a Casio Privia.
I have a pedal board with a sustain pedal for both since neither board will work with the other pedal. Also on the board is my Vent, Vent footswitch and organ volume pedal. It's tight with two sustain pedals.
This new pedal comes in three models and is designed for a wide range of combinations so that you're likely to find one that works with whatever combination of different boards you might use.
I bought one today but had a nice talk with the guy at DSSP. He says they're built out of steel and very sturdy.
It will be here on Tuesday.
The cost for the CE45 model I bought was 39.95. Well below the cost of two pedals.
I have pretty bad luck with all but the Yamaha pedals. The off brand pedals last me about a month then they go south. Especially, if they have the polarity switch underneath. The Priva pedal is on it's way out and I expect it to give up any day now.
Just thought I'd share this with the group.
