Subject:SK Leslie Sim!

Hey! I had a practice last night - nothing fancy - played my SK-1 directly
into my Fender KXR 200 (a honkin' loud keyboard amp). Anyways, I'd been
messing with the SK's internal Leslie sim, I made a couple cabinet presets
and I tried 'em out. I had my Vent with me, and I figured I'd be using it,
but the SK's sim sound really pretty good! I have to say I was very
impressed. It was lacking some depth and sounded too bright in the high
end, but I'm hoping some EQ can help with that. So, from now on, I figure
I can leave the Vent at home sometimes. I'd use it in stereo through my
JBL Eon 315's when I wanted the very best sound, but the SK really can
sound pretty good without it!
