Thanx for your interest.
Its the 8' drawbar with 4' pulled out about halfway.
I used some NI Guitar Rig amp modeling to get a grittier sound.
Other instruments they used on these recordings was Hohner Pianet (Pleasent
Valley Sunday) and Hohner Clavinet...
I am a student of making these vintage sounds on modern digital equipment.
The Wrecking Crew played on all these LA recordings....
Obviously the real key is making the vocals sound credible.
My friend Bryan Wooley is just amazing.
These are all real drums as well.
Craig Otto mics up and records his drums at his home studio.
Just the three of us having fun.
Tribute bands are real big up here in Seattle.
Bryan sings & plays in a Styx tribute a Macca tribute & a Boston tribute
band...
He did all the guitars as well on this stuff....
Amp modeling is the key once again..
Most instruments were recorded with mic'd up Fender amps...
