Yes, I agree. I have been using an XK-3c with a Ventilator since it came out and after tweaking and experimenting with all of the adjustable parameters I have the Hammond sound I want covered. I grew up with C3, B3s, and 122 Leslies so that is my point of reference. All of the clones out there sound good and it would be impossible to label one best but I am very happy with the XK-3c and haven't seen or heard anything that would compel me to make a change. That said, I think I would be happy with most of the choices out there once I had a chance to live with them for a while. I do personally feel that the layout and general feel of the XK is the best I have experienced with any of the clones I have played.
Cheers,
Gary

Subject: [CWSG] Hammond XK-1C
Just got my XK-1C today I spent about an hour tweaking it and then I added the burn, then it got really good. I really think this is the combination I've been looking for. I have the vk8m, kronos, electro 4d and now the xk1c I really think this is the best yet. Does anyone else share this opinion?
