Subject:Re: GSi VB3 doesn't play in apple Maverick

Yes there are 32 bit bridges available and purchasing soundradix will do the job but why spend as much again as the cost of VB3 to keep it running when developers have had at least 5 years notice that 64 bit will become the default OS architecture offered by MS and Apple?

As others have pointed out Guido announced he was working on 64 bit versions of the GSI VST's - 2 years and waiting so far with no release date.

I can understand the market for 32 bit bridges for discontinued legacy VST's but for current on sale product?

>>There is a little app that will let VB3 and just about everything else work perfectly in Maverick.

It's called '32 Lives' - http://www.soundradix.com/products/32-lives
It is still for sale at it's 'beta' price of $69 for a while longer

The list of plugins/softsynths that work in this app is impressive.
I own several products that have been abandoned ( like Virtual Guitarist ) and all work within this bridge.
