Subject:Re: affordable hammond midi controller?

I'm going to butt in with my favorite rant: the Roland A-500 and similar models uses a keybed that's 6.25" per octave, instead of the standard 6.5". Check the action and measure the octave! Full- size keybeds include the Fatar-based clones, the Novation Impulse, old Yamaha and Roland MIDI controllers, and few others.

I use an old Yamaha KX76, which if you can find one, works well, even though it has diving-board keys.
