Subject:Re: Looking to replace my Roland VR-760. Roland VR-09 vs Hammond SK
I'm a little bit desoriented with the facts of a VK-8m engine compared both vs SK1 and VR-09.
Wich are the features that wouldn't be easily got in the last ones unless without complex programming /drawbar settings ?
As a Leslie fan user only care about the flutes/harmonics quality emulating to a TWG as it should be in Gospel , Blues, R&B, Soul etc .
Other bells and whistles sounds appealing but I'm not focused on them.
Is it possible to consider a VR-09 in the league of a single manua with a " TWG that sound as decent to be regarded as a good wannabe like other more expensive ? " (SK1 or C2D lengines )
At the price to me sounds like a keyboard "one size fits all"
TIA for tips or hints.
Rafael

Yeah. I wasn't trying to start anything, just missing drawbars more and more lately, and glad to see options comparable to my stage, with, that weigh less than 20 lbs.
