The way I see ( and hear) it, it boils down to this:
If the organ is more important to you, go with the SK1. I think it sounds great , especially with a Vent. But I hate the acoustic pianos and the EP's are just OK.
If You're OK with a lesser organ in exchange for better sounding pianos, etc. AND lower price, the VR-09 is a better all-in one unit.
I want 88 fully weighted for my piano, so I use the SK1 for organ only. Wish I'd have waited a few months and got the XK1-C instead!

The "half on gadget" is the mod wheel... The mod wheel has a similar problem in that if you choose to use the mod wheel to control the Leslie speed, you automatically send mod wheel midi data to your external synth.. And you cannot turn this off. You can work around this if your external synth module or keyboard has the ability to filter mod wheel data, but if not this could create a problem. Both this and the damper pedal issue are examples of the limited capabilities of the Numa as a controller..
By the way, discussions of the Numa have nothing to do with the thread, if anyone has any first hand experience with the VR-09 vs the SK1 that they want to share please chime in here, so we can get this thread back on track..
Craig.
