I agree 100% with Ken on this one.. Numa sounds and feels awesome, but it's not a great controller, and it has no other sounds so it's not the solution that Gene is looking for.  I would take the Numa organ over the SK1 organ as well, any day, but the SK1 has other sounds and is therefore more comparable to the VR-09 (which is why Gene asked for that comparison).
 
Seriously the VR-09 is fantastic value.. will it satisfy all of the extremely discerning Hammond clone fanatics on this list.. definitely not, but it's not targeted at HammondDave, or others who are fanatical about their Hammond sound.. but just because it's not targeted at the most discerning of pro-players doesn't mean it isn't a great solution for some... 
 
Give it a try for yourself Gene, it may be perfect for you, or maybe not. At least you will understand some of the pros and cons of SK1 vs VR-09.

In the interest of clarity, I agree with Craig that the Numa sucks
as a controller, although it's learning to live with my Sonic Cell quite
nicely. At 10 kg. ( 22 pounds ) I find it very lightweight and the extra
octave comes in handy when playing piano. Again, I haven't played a
VR-09 and I used to like my VK8M through the Ventilator, plus Craig is
quite discerning about his sound. But, if authenticity of the Hammond
sound is important, I think the Numa easily beats the SK-1. I owned both
and compared them side-by-side for a few months. No matter how hard I
tried, I couldn't like the C/V on the SK-1 and yet when I play the Numa
it makes me want to play more. That's my true test. The Mojo is the same
way. As always, this is a personal opinion.
