I don't think Neo needs to put effects like filter sweep and echo to stay competitive with this.
I think it sounds great but the overdrive needs to tweaked to match the vent. As I think someone
said earlier, that single 12AX7 sounds like they always do when used for overdrive. The vent sounds
like the whole amp chain overdriving and I don't think you will get that from this set up. That said I am
sure at the lower price they will sell well. Certainly an improvement over most internal sims!!

Awwww, man! I was hoping to come out all smug and say that this thing will never surpass my Vent, but, damn, I'm really impressed with these demos. Just the sheer amount of programming options you have that the Vent doesn't offer is reason enough to get this. I assume that replacing the tube might improve the quality of the overdrive.

My guess is that there's going to be a mini-flood of Vents on the market once this thing comes out...Neo will have to match it featurewise and pricewise if they want to stay competitive.
