If you want a sound module rack that can totally replace the Electro 2 rack, the Roland Integra-7 is your best choice. It's very expensive (around $2000), but its new SuperNatural tonewheel organ is the best one Roland's put out in a ROMPLER and has adjustable drawbars, percussion and rotary settings (but, alas, not organ-specific chorus). Supposedly the tonewheels can be "moved" on the fly in real time using an external keyboard but I haven't tried doing it yet. The SuperNatural acoustic pianos are absolutely phenomenal and have a great degree of customization in terms of resonance, hammer hit, sympathetic string vibrations, etc. The Supernatural EPs aren't fantastic--they're a little dry sounding. For better EP choices, I generally go to the vast selection of non-SuperNatural PCM EPs available. It also has excellent brass, woodwinds, drums and basses, very good acoustic guitars, so-so electric guitars and great drum kits. In additionm, it also includes every single Roland SRX expansion card, giving you access to thousands of additional sounds. Some of them are usable, many of them forgettable.

I used to have an Electro 2 rack and I wouldn't go back to it at this point.

Email me through the group if you want more information and links to a demo I created with it.
