Doubtful ... I never knew Garth Hudson to play anything other than Lowrey organs. I think he was either playing a Lincolnwood TSO-25 or an H25 with a horseshoe-shaped console on Cahoots. Both had pitch-bend effects, which he used occasionally and to great effect.

You might be able to get close to this effect on an organ with a pitch wheel, but nailing that particular registration would be nearly impossible unless you were using a Korg CX-3 in expansion mode. YM, of course, MV.
