Yes, I saw them in Rich Stadium (Buffalo, NY) during the Brain Salad
Surgery Tour, complete with quadraphonic PA system. One of the best
concerts I've ever seen: can't even remember who the warm-ups were, the
band was that good!
But, as others said, the 40th Anniversary show was a bit of a
disappointment. I picked it up at Best Buy on a Friday, watched it
Saturday afternoon -- wasn't sure it was worth the cash. Even aurally:
I was underwhelmed by the sound of the big Moog rack in the Lucky Man
solo. It sounded like it needed some serious tech work. The original
still stands as a class in how to program a synth!
