Don Lelsie really got it right.
What i have learned the last year regarding clone sound is:
Get as close as you can but instead of chasing the last 20% focus on removing things that bug you.
The best thing about a Hammond/leslie is that the are no really bad things.

I applied this thingking to the motiound units i have and adjusted them accordingly(no pun intended) after that I like them a lot more.
