Subject:Miking an A-100 into Leslie sim

If a real Leslie won't be used then a direct connection to the Vent sounds quite reasonable for the no-miking route.

The schematics about wiring an 1/4" Hammond to get line output is here

http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/LineOutFromASpinet

IMO a better option is shown up there so keep the rich harmonics out of the loudspeakers in place of taking it from the amp circuit.

Just a small plastix box with a 'dummy load' inside, this is a couple of  ceramic 5W 16ohm resistors  to simulate the load of the so bypassed speaker

I recently acquired an A-100 that is in good shape, but I
have no Leslie.  I was thinking about placing my Samson usb microphone
near the onboard speakers and opening the Leslie sim up on VB3.
Has anyone tried this?  Not a very clean signal I realize and eventually I will be installling a 1/4" output to the organ.
