I listened to the last one with the drums, there's something about the Korg that seems to cut through a mix better, which is what made me decide for the Korg when I was buying way back. Funny thing is what makes it cut through could very well be that harshness factor we struggle with, wouldn't that be ironic!
And yea, the XK and Korg were close. I went to this page because I have an opportunity to get a nord electro 2 cheap, and was looking for comparisons of that. I was really dissapointed in that compared to the XK and CX. I went to the Nord page, and listened to their demo's of the electro 2 and they were pretty bad until I added a bit of reverb, then they came alive. What's with these companies, doesn't whoever is in charge of selling these things have ears?
