What model Leslie was this, Ken?
I have a Leslie 130 with a 122 top rotor I built for it (V21 Driver & horn powered by tube amp) and I have been comparing it to the Vent using my Hammond A101 with a DIY Zener OD unit (before the 130). Sure it is not a real122 but sounds real good. I may be accused of blasphemy but I prefer the sound of the Vent with the Hammond! The OD is better and the modulation is more evident especially when playing along to backing tracks. Trying the Vent/ A101 combo with my band tonight as we have moved practice to my studio.

Here are the settings that most closely emulated my Leslie:
From the left - 10 o'clock, 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, 11 o'clock, 1 o'clock
I hope this helps.
