I bought a Leslie just like that in 1974 with my first M102 from the J60 Organ bar in Leytonstone (memories for any East Londoners out there). It was a custom plywood case with original Leslie motors & rotors. Its exactly the same as my 147 but without the best bit ... the wonderful growling amp. I still have it in my garage.
Creating things out of spare parts is something we have had to do a lot over here in the UK, as there were never as many Hammonds over here as there were in the States. I have a Hammond which is like a split C3 but was made up from spare parts from E, H and M models. Looks a bit crap, but matches any B3 in sound.

Back on the Pianet thread, thanks to Barry's 'Hall of Electric Pianos@ for making me realise that I have had a Pianet C as well as Pianet N's. I also have a Hohner electrapiano which I stripped out of the casing and carted round gigs.

Hatfield and the North (it's a sign on the M1 motorway out of London). No it's not a moog on top of the L100 its a pianet N. Its amazing what you can do with simple distortion and effects
