The one thing I remember about the Pianet was that if played through a very loud guitar amp you could get sustain and harmonics
like you would with a guitar. The problem was that the SPL you needed to do that was painful!

Might be. The trouble is that a Wurli can sound like a Pianet and vice
versa, particularly when a) played hard, b) bathed in overdrive, and c)
buried a little in the mix.

Plus, you know how recording sessions go:

"That song needs a piano."
"Hey, there's a piano in the corner!"
"No, that's a 'Pianet.'."
"Well, let's try it and see ..."
