Subject:Leslie needs new tubes

My 145 gig Leslie has come back from the shop with a re-cap job. The tubes were shot. I'm looking for recs on a new tube duet. NOS Tung Sols are out of the question financially. How are the "new" Russian Tung-Sols? There is a little talk of using KT-88's for more power. Is anybody doing that? I don't mind a little dirt and grit. If so which ones are reliable. Also vendor recs would be good.
