I've tried everything. Not using the sustain pedal disabling everything that is not absolutely necessary both on the ipad and the Igrand. It doesn't seem to be a matter of running out of polyphony as it's intermittent with no rhyme or reason when it's going to stop playing. It literally stops then a second or so later you hear the sound. I've even tried to get it to choke on too many notes and that doesn't seem to bring it on. In the meantime, if you move to another chord or note nothing happens.
It's got to be something simple. Otherwise, we're back to the laptop. As always it seems that something like this shouldn't happen or they would be smart to post some sort of warning against doing this or that. OR posting it's limitations. Such as DON'T USE THIS THING LIVE!
I guess I should learn by now not to get too excited over stuff like this. At this rate, it's a great toy but not usable in a live situation where you can't possibly have this type of thing happen.
I do a lot of stuff where there is just piano and vocals in the middle and intros of songs. Boy would that ever suck for this thing to decide to hiccup in the middle of something like that.
I'll wait for their tech reply before I pronounce it DOA.
Like they say, if it's too good to be true then it probably is.
ALL I WANT IS A DECENT SOUNDING PIANO.. Sheesh!
