Subject:OT IK Multimedia IGrand

I just downloaded the new Ipad app from IK Multimedia. The IGrand.
The basic app is free. If you'd like a variety of other grands and uprights then I believe it's 29.99???
Full polyphony, adjustable latency, EQ, ambience etc.
I liked the basic so much I opted for the full app.
I'd say a lot of folks will really like the basic free model as I think it's the best sounding out of the bunch.
I was really beginning to worry about carrying around my MacBook Pro in fear of something happening to it. Main Stage is a cool program but I really only need usable pianos so this works really well.
I just bought the EZ Keys program and I'm extremely happy with it as it really has all of the life of a real grand. It's not necessarily the best for using in a band situation but in the studio it's a killer. Another piano program to check out is the XLAudio piano. EZ keys and XLAudio are plug-ins.
If we can just get some decent EPs and maybe a nice Hammond app for the Ipad that would be fantastic.
If you don't like the IK Ipad piano then you haven't lost anything by trying the basic version.
