Another way to look at it is ......
The finished product is generally not the same as rehearsing it ..or jamming it ..or
just playing it to play it ...more often than not ...Those bands / musicians are just
"covering " the tune.
and besides no one said this was to be the next great Procol Harum release...
I liked it myself ...tho i am not looking for greatness every time good or even great
players get together ...

I've always liked Procol Harum... even since I heard WSP on the radio for the first time many years ago. However, this version of "Morning Dew" doesn't sound like much more than a typical garage band jam to me... no disrespect to the players intended, but just because you're in a great band and have a bunch of shows and songs under your belt (in this case though it was just WSP and Conquistidor), doesn't mean that every time you get together and jam the result is greatness. Sorry to sound so sacrilegious. Not everything that great musicians do is great.
