Subject:Re: Which are the best / cheap active monitores to use with Crumar Mojo?
I've read some good reviews about those monitors. While I don't own any Samson speakers, I do have a Samson Servo 170 studio power amp which I've had for some time and have always been pleased with it. It's clean, reliable and the build quality is good. I know that the Samson brand is considered by some to be a "bottom feeder" brand, like Nady or Behringer, but for the money they do seem to have a good product.

Subject: [CWSG] Which are the best / cheap active monitores to use with Crumar Mojo?
Hi friends,
I hope next week my Mojo arrives..., I Can't wait!!!
I don't have much money, but I need to buy a pair of good monitores. A friend of mine have for sell a pair of monitors from Samson Auro D412 (250w, I think!), with a 12" woofer, for about 500 euros.
. Does anybody knows this speakers?
. Does the 12" woofer a good job? I play bass lines and I need good lows.
. Can I buy a good monitors around this price?
To remember, my Leslie 145 will stay at home. I can't carry it anymore, and I decided to buy the Mojo exactly to avoid it.
I played ever with Leslies, but my 57 years old don't let me do it much more time!
Please, can you give me some suggestions, some ideas? All your experience will be welcome! And there are many dealers here in Europe.
Thank you in advance,
Manuel Beleza
