what I am saying is any cheap keyboard or module will run the Roland pedals, one midi cord and run a bass or organ patch, it will keep the bass out of the Leslie sim to your amp but I don't like really low bass thru a Leslie anyways.
The sounds on a "toy" Casio or Yamaha keyboard are surprisingly good, especially for bass as simple waveforms, and cheap synth modules are a dime a dozen.
This would give you organ bass and a cheap "Moog" synth bass setup.

OK, thanks. A $25 Casio what? Again, ignorant newbie here. And once I get the PK5A and the $25 Casio whatever, how do I hook them to my BX3(which works perfectly and I bought for $300 and it came with an awesome road case. Sorry...)?
