Subject:Re: A101 vs M3

Just wondering how you compare the A101 to the M3?  Its hard for me to tell the difference, on recordings,  between the B3 and M3. Once, when walking into a lounge what I thought to be a B was  an M3 thru a 147 leslie. Your thoughts. thanks

I play mostly classic rock, blues and country in a variety band that plays parties, festivals and clubs in Indiana. Older guys (40s and 50s) who have real jobs and play out for fun, to let off steam and remember how to play.  (It's a bonus that we get paid for our hobby!)    I also play 1 or 2 times a month at church, mostly contemporary praise music and occasionally some old-time gospel harmony.

I have always used a synth for Hammond sounds (Korgs and Rolands), but recently bought a used Numa Organ so I could really play with drawbars.  I never really appreciated the benefit of waterfall  keys until I had some to play.   Having fun.
