Hi Frederick and Group,

I'm on your side, always use an actual rotary when it's possible.

For larger venues before using a Vent or any clonewheel rig with
simulated leslie, I'd like to try with a so called "monster Leslies"

I'm also concious about shipping or just the cubic space such stuff requires.

IIRC  in the forum Bruce Wahler has a monster version Low Boy (sorry if it's wronly named)
with Selenium D-405 phenolic 'beast' driver that sadly isn't longer offered since the days JBL bought
Selenium.

BTW, the first monster Leslie I heard wasn't a small venue but a basketball stadium (1972)  when was on stage an Italian band ( Gli Scooters, on youtube either)

Believe it , the 200W monster Leslie just blowed up for those close to the stage.

Glady see that the amp maker has decided to build a re-edition of that 200Watts leslie featuring (4) 6550 tubes, this is
double power as found in a stock model 147 or 122 stock Leslies.

Brian Auger was one of their featured artists.

I don't endorse it nor publicize them as only heard a now vintage version build in the 70s

Can be read on the site that they were sold by the thousands and Mr. Lombardi bought their house with that income.

I understand also that when shipping costs count, a Neo Ventilator is a solution for the frequent gigging musician or a organ with an acceptable sim built-in.

Nevertheless IMO never heard such a similar rotary horn power and bass punch since heard the  Lombardi LL200 Leslie tube amp (200W)

Sound simply came from everywhere to everyone not just from P.A. loudspeakers

Many of us know what I'm talking about.

Btw, the Italian band had the actual sound ( H+L)  as came here  with a chopped Hammond B3  with a rare feature for the time : the TWG was split in a separated cabinet for easier transport , so maestro Fred Ferrari ( RIP)  had a thin cab with double manuals an AO-28 preamp inside but TWG had been set apart in another cab ( what a wiring mess !!! )

Procol Harum records and Lombardi did the rest to fall in love with real Leslies as mine despite being a real rotary didn't have rotary horns, just kinda Vibratone 16 (Leslie OEM)  marketed by Farfisa since late 60s.

Guess that Italy had their time with electronic organs since late 30s when even mechanical Hammond were replicated in an organ by Microtecnica ( Milano , Italy)

That happened decades before Pari organs did their intent with a TWG mechanical replica.

If shipping or moving real Leslies wouldn't be a concern I wouldn't hesitate to play on it on stage as my best bet.

I always use a real Leslie

Either my 145 or my MotionSound Pro3tm with LowPro and an Behringer 90 W
combo bassamp for added lows.

I know may do not like the MotionSound but with a little tweaking if the
speeds I have a pleasant sounding unit.
I does not sound exactly like my 145  - only a 145 can do that.
But rightly tuned the MotionSound has a a sound that does the job. At a
fraction of the wheight.
It also makes up for good Leslie nr2 for a dual leslie setup - meaning I
can haul both in my car. Haulting my 145 and my 142 would need a trailer.
