My favorite "Steve story" is one many of you have heard but I think you can really appreciate.
Steve had lots of cats around...mostly outdoor cats, but they did tend to hang out in his garage/staging area for final testing and shipping out gear. I had a 31H Leslie there being worked on, one I used for church each week. Picked it up with a trailer and brought it back to my church. It was Wednesday night and we had practice for Sunday services. I had everything set back up and cranked up the organ...and this tiny little scared to death cat went FLYING out of the bottom of the speaker cabinet and out into the sanctuary of the church LOL

It took several days, but eventually they managed to find the cat and found it a home...and from that day forward Steve always made sure they did "cat checks" on gear before it was sent out of the shop 8^)
