Subject:Year End Wishes and Musings ...and Best instrument of the Decade

The question was asked   "What is new on the Horizon?"   I think a very

good question ...and as we cannot tell the future ..we can only run out to the music stores
online an not ..an see what is there ..but those instruments and etc ..are not the future ..they are the now ...

So maybe we could be Pro Active in suggesting and voicing and relaying what our dreams and
wishes and wants are for the future ..of Clonewheels and all that goes with the genre ...

I play a Nord E3  as many of you may remember a few weeks ago i purchased a Nord 4D
of which over the weekend that i owned it ...I did find out it was not the keyboard of the

future for me ...FOR ME !  ...So what is or could be the future keyboard for me

I will be 66 tomorrow ...so I prob have if i am real real real real lucky 20 more years of playing

an that is being very generous with myself ...but like Charleton Heston said ..yer gonna have to pry my cold dead hands ..anyway ..I want to play music as long as i can ...
So my NE3 may out live me but the music industry will certainly pass that NE3 by ..it may become the DX7 of the early years of the 21st century ...anyway ..

I would be happy with a keyboard with Better than just acceptable   Hammond, AC piano , EP , Synth , Brass, what ever it  is that i want to add to my mix ..I want it to be available ...to me ..on one lightweight keyboard.   and be under $3K

I have yet to find one keyboard that has it all ...

For me  for now I would settle with   one keyboard lightweight under  $3K...with

Nice Hammond ...Nice EP....Nice piano ...nicer fatter thicker sounds, patches , samples

I wish i could describe those sounds better ..but I can not ...

I chose the $3K amount as I think most of us are amateurs ...or not gigging all the time ..I think the big boys ...the great players out there ..making the big bucks ..have the best of the times now ....so this does not apply to them ...

These are my thoughts of what us little guys want instruments to be.   

The manufacturers in my estimation are not there yet ..they are closer now than 10 -20 yrs ago

but not yet ...

And for me

  The best  instrument of the  Decade is the NEO INSTRUMENTS
VENTILATOR without a doubt ....

so I would love to hear from all of you on what your hearts desires are ...for the immed future. an what is your Best of the Decade .....
