Just watched Alicia Keys performing on Jimmy Fallon (DVR'ed). Guess what was on top of her Yamaha Grand Piano?   Sheet music..... Helps Alicia hit the right Keys I guess.

Yeah, I'll sometimes bring a scrap of paper with some chord changes to a
song I don't know and lie it flat on the organ so I can glance at it.
But, my goal is to always learn every song inside out. In the bands I'm
in, my role is usually playing lots of fills and solos - you just can't
do that unless you really know the tunes well. If I'm looking at the
chords and just kind of playing along I feel I'm selling the audience
(and the guys in the band) short...
