Subject:Re: CHEAT SHEETS, Music STands and BIG TIME ROCK STARS !

I don't see any problem with people using music stands, notes, books, PC's, iPads, etc.
Most punters in the crowd couldn't care less. They're getting live music, dancing and having a good time and a cheat sheet on stage isn't going to change their night.
In the 20+years I've had notes on the floor or in recent years, an iPad mounted on my rig, I've never had anyone comment or complain about it.

A good memory for playing would be great to have, but I've never been blessed with it.

For those looking for a good system. I use an iPad with an App called "unrealBook". You can put setlists together in no time and if a random song gets called, you can pull it up from the index in seconds.
The App costs about $5
If my iPad died, or got pinched, I have a pdf reader on my iPhone that would get me through in a pinch.
