I like the Apex too, but that's mostly because it can support tiny synthesizers like the Mopho which are only 19" wide... and it fits better onto tiny stages because of its tiny footprint. The downside to the Apex is that pedal placement is dicey. I use a pair of bespeco vm-20s for the NE2, which are just tiny enough allow me to stand close (they also fit nicely into the nord case pocket). -pc
