Subject:Help me identify what I found rattling inside my Korg CX-3 V2

Are there any techs (or someone familiar with the insides of the 2001 version of the Korg CX-3) that might be able to help me identify what I found rattling inside my organ? If someone thinks they may be able to help, I'd send a high quality photo of the piece. Simply put, it is a piece of plastic about 1/2" square broken off to a length of about 7/8", and has a 3/8" steel "dowel" inserted in it. While there is a 3/16" hole in the "finished" end of the piece of plastic, there are no threads in the plastic or in the steel dowel that would indicate it is a fastener of any kind. Any help in determining what this is or its function would be greatly appreciated.
