Hey Bruce,

Couldn't you use the G - G and the ground as a balanced output and run into a DI with a 20db pad?
It's been a long time since I worked on consoles so I can't remember exactly what the output level
was...I know it was quite high.

As long as no one touches the potentiometer, you're probably OK. But my
changes limit the input voltage to a practical range, which would
prevent the Vent from slowly failing, if people keep cranking the knob.
It should make dialing the level in easier, too, because you should be
able to use 40-60% of the range.
