The "garden studio" sounds cool... maybe you could post a photo or two of it.

Subject: [CWSG] Korg bx-3 crumar mojo dilemma
I currently have a great condition bx3 in my garden studio and like everything about it in terms of sound and layout. However, because it resides in my garden studio I do not get to play it as much as it is sometime too much trouble to go down and unlock etc ( I do have two practices a week in the studio with a couple of bands where I play guitar).
I am an awful keyboard player but I have become keen to play. If the bx3 were lighter I could use it in an upstairs room in the house. Is it possible/practical to chop the organ and reduce its weight.
Or... Should I bite the bullet and get the light weight mojo even though my ears would probably not appreciate the improved sounds.
Money is tight and my goal would be a lighter BX3 which I could midi to vb3 for recording.
In addition, other than the high note issue and older Leslie sim how do these two organs really compare. I have youtubed them both endlessley and I am aware of the fact that no 2 tone wheels sound alike so comments about authenticity can be subjective.
Hope that makes sense
Regards
Shane
