Never having owned either my guess is "A" is MS and B is the "142." They actually both sound really good to me in this mellow jazz recorded context.

Yes... all speakers move air. Anything that makes a sound moves air. I was going to mention that in my original comment, but thought that putting "move air" in quotes would be sufficient to get the point across without having to actually point out that I'm aware of the fact that a speaker cone moves air. I will try to be more clear in my comments next time.

Gentlemen

Here are two examples from my living room.

The grear used is
Nord C2d
Leslie 142
MotionSound Pro3tm + LowPro
a behringinger ultrabass 90 direkt from a line out without any effects
lowpass filter at 250.

In one clip only the Motionsound rig

In one clip both systems all of the units above.

Zoom Q3 in the middle of the room.

Which recording is which? :)

With your answer I would like to hear the reasoning behind your conclusions.

Last question - The clip with the single motion sound rig, is this a usable
sound? - if not, then why?

BTW way - moving air? All speaker move air. Not moving air = silence
Mechanical Rotating speaker system is probably a better name for what we
call "moving air"
