I have had 2 pedals and 3 keyboards with Leslie sims before I got the Vent and IMO fast speed not sounding right was the issue on each one of them. Slow was very usable on all. On most turning down the fast speed helped a bit, but then, of course, wasn't fast enough to get the 122/145 effect I was after. The Vent is the closest to the real thing on fast I have ever heard and its OD is hands down better than any other digital OD I have heard from anything. The Vent also has a mic'ing distance option which is also very useful.

Yeah - I'll join the chorus... I used to have a Pro3T/Low Pro and a
KBRM - I used 'em both together - shouda sounded great - sounded OK but
never had the real 'Leslie' sound. Got an original Vent and loved it
through my old Fender KXR 200 so I sold the KBRM and got a JBL Eon 315
and figured I'd use the Motion Sound stuff in the studio and the Vent
live. The Vent through the JBL sounded so incredible, I sold the Pro3T
and Low Pro and got another JBL Eon 315 - when I run the Vent in stereo
through the JBL's it sounds amazing - better than the Motion Sound stuff
for sure - and like the man says, the Vent is light and incredibly easy
to use - using the 'distance' knob you can get the perfect sound for all
kinds of situations... I use it in blisteringly loud rock bands and for
quiet solo playing at home - always sounds like a Leslie to me!
