Subject:Re: MS 3X + pa system or Neo Ventilator + pa system on nord c1?
The key to a good Leslie sound is not to add a top rotor.
It is having top and bottom rotor.
I have had motionsound tops since 2008.
When I add a bottom rotor (leslie 110/120/825) it sounds great. (not as good as the leslie 145).
Just using it with a bass combo amp is not so good. But works for rehearsals since the combinaton of pro3x and cube 60 is easy to carry.
I need to try a Vent in my PA.
Every sim I have heard so far Nord C1 - c2d - VB3 sounds phased and compressed in a PA compared to a leslie or motionsound In headphones the sims aleays sounds quite good.
The only categorical statement i can make is that a B3 in a Lelsie 122 sounds great and is very heavy.
